Historia
Here is an impassioned plea for reason in a world divided by faith. This important and timely work delivers a startling analysis of the clash of faith and reason in today's world. Harris offers a vivid historical tour of mankind's willingness to suspend reason in favor of religious beliefs, even when those beliefs are used to justify harmful behavior and sometimes heinous crimes.

my first book by Sam Harris
Revisado: 01-17-18
This book was very well thought out and conveyed almost perfectly. It's clear Sam has done his research and holds no quarter when it comes to explaining the absurdity of religion and the future it will have upon all of us. It's explained respectfully, and shows the reader that even though it's taboo to question a person's religion, that an examination needs to be and should be done by all thinking people.

Historia
In this grand poetic vision of the universe, Lawrence Krauss tells the dramatic story of the discovery of the hidden world that underlies reality - and our place within it. Reality is not what you think or sense - it’s weird, wild, and counterintuitive, and its inner workings seem at least as implausible as the idea that something can come from nothing. With his trademark wit and accessible style, Krauss leads us to realms so small that they are invisible to microscopes, to the birth and rebirth of light, and into the natural forces that govern our existence.

Great book!
Revisado: 11-29-17
Personally I loved how in-depth and thorough the book was, detailing everything from both a historical background to how an individual particle might behave.
That said, I don't think it's fit for the scientific faint of heart, being a very technical and detailed book but then again if you are you probably aren't interested in this type of thing anyway.
I would recommend this to anyone with a thirst for science!

Nye believes we'll never be able to tackle our society's biggest, most complex problems if we don't even know how to solve the small ones. Step by step, he shows his listeners the key tools behind his everything-all-at-once approach: radical curiosity, a deep desire for a better future, and a willingness to take the actions needed to make it a reality.
