sheer gutting it out.

Could really get behind the characters. The story is complex , but not arduous. Doesn't stall out or bog down. Interesting , has gravity and fun.

The Series is s Slog

Sure , it's a good story I guess. I've noticed though that is is dark enough and has characters that linger on and on that you will hate enough, there is loss enough, that now that I have read the 4th installment, I find that the whole experience leaves me with a worse attitude and less hope than I had before embarking on the whole dark experience. Ppl will say that you have to have bad to have a foil and that all I want is cavorting elves or some such. Not true. I study the news and follow the trends going on in the world. There is enough there that I would like something that gives more than a glimmer of hope . Instead this series tends to rile me up instead. Enough Mwah ha ha ha ! in modern fiction and fantasy. Too much blood and vengence is just a cheap way to sell a story and the more of it I read (and it is more and more a carbon copy of the next author or work) the more boring it becomes. Having said that, this book and series does stand up there in the pantheon of current fiction as being as good as a lot of them. The author can write. It is entertaining, Don't look for a refreshing break from the cares of the world here, and if you can uncover it, there is some inspiration as well.

Loved it. Story is gripping, interesting, and satisfying. It's about steady grit , derermination, ... Touches on what love is and is not. Can't help saying I think the artist really captured the main character.

Some series in this genre tend to deteriorate into megalomania or sometimes interestingly arraigned garbage. This series, so far , isn't spoiled. I can just enjoy it , and I do!

R C Bray is perfect as the narrator of this series. Great Job with the culture of the crew especially.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Land: Alliances: A LitRPG Saga to be better than the print version?

Hmm, don't know. I just have the audio but It probably does the printed version justice.

Don't know. This if the first LitRPG I have tried, but it is great fun.

Yes. This one is great, just like the other one.

No extreme reaction. A lot of satisfaction watching as the story progressed.
