Historia
If it weren’t for Emma Johnson, Caryn Johnson would have never become Whoopi Goldberg. Emma gave her children the loving care and wisdom they needed to succeed in life, always encouraging them to be true to themselves. When Whoopi lost her mother in 2010—and then her older brother, Clyde, five years later—she felt deeply alone; the only people who truly knew her were gone. Emma raised her children not just to survive, but to thrive. In this intimate and heartfelt memoir, Whoopi shares many of the deeply personal stories of their lives together for the first time.

Historia
In 2000, when top financial philosopher and best-selling author Mitch Anthony first presented a new way of thinking about retirement, it was novel, and many critics didn't buy into it. Originally written to get the attention of baby boomers, Mitch ended up starting a revolution by showing us that everything we had learned about retirement was wrong—we needed a "new retirementality."

AI voice or elementary content?
Revisado: 07-03-24
I don’t know how anyone could get through all of this. After eight chapters, it’s the monotonous voice presentation and the elementary content that warrant comment. I appreciate the precise use of the English language, but this book isn’t for everyone. Maybe because I’ve been in the business world for more than 45 years means I’m just not the target market. But at 68 y.o. and less than a week into my official retirement, I’m underwhelmed. And glad I got a few things done while listening!
