This book will bring to you all you wanted to know about ginger. As a spice its taste is inimitable. An extremely versatile spice, it blends superbly in soups, salads, sweets and main course dishes. It is also served with sushi and sashimi. This book will give an insight on the many uses and benefits of this rhizome, which incidentally no longer grows in the wild.

I was expecting something more scientific and evidence based. Most of the book read like the authors personal opinion. There was much more information about cooking and food than I expected.
I wanted to hear more about the science behind Ginger’s magic. There wasn’t much of that although there was a scant amount. The reading was very robotic and uninspiring.
