this was...interesting. I almost DNFed in the beginning, due to how it began, but Im so glad I didnt. the story kept me hooked. had me in tears at least once, but Kirill needs to grovel or apologise or something lol! Still excited for book 3

my first book by this author.
the narrators are fantastic.
however...I love enemies to lovers, favorite trope, even.
its just that half way through ...devi's defiance no longer seems playful and bantery.more like, all of her opinions of everything nice he had been doing are soiled in her mind by petulant, stubborn assumptions.
in the beginning I understood, but half through Im kind of pissed off at her lmao
It ended great, though. and is still up there for books for me lately 3/5 stars. I'd been in a slump before this.
and thats bc ofthe narrators and mmc being great .dane actually wasnt that cocky, he was just rich andshe had a grudge

first time with this author and it was great!, It took Arran a lomg time to be "obsessed", but I liked it. Its a break from the insta love (which I dont mind either). Due ti his trauma it takes Arran a proper amoint of time.
