Historia
When Heath Manfred is left in a lurch after an acrimonious divorce, he turns to the Brotherhood for help with finding a nanny for his three-year-old daughter. But the last thing he expects is for the nanny who shows up to interview for the job to be a hunky man. Correction, the last thing he expects is for Aubrey to assume the nanny position is live-in…and for him to go along with that and have Aubrey move in.

Historia
You can't choose who you fall in love with. Despite assuming from a young age that he was gay, Scott Murphy couldn't imagine life without Shelly. He threw away the label he'd stuck on his sexuality and had 11 amazing years with her, but now, he feels even more lost trying to figure out how to move on after Shelly's death. After nearly a year of watching Scott fade away, Shelly's father forces him to start living again.

Sweet Story, Dreadful Narration
Revisado: 01-24-16
Would you consider the audio edition of Godsend to be better than the print version?
I have not read the print version
What did you like best about this story?
It is a lovely story about how hope and love can carry you out of the depths of dispair
How could the performance have been better?
While the narrator had a nice voice there were two things that kept me from enjoying it: his narration was stilted and did not flow consistently and I lost count of how many words he mispronounced. My favorite was saying "chassis" for "chaise".
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The epilogue was particularly poignant.
Any additional comments?
Does anybody listen to the finished product before it is released? If so, they should have caught and edited the mispronunciations.

Is there room for love in a heart full of secrets? One year ago, before Fate took a wrecking ball to his life, Nichol was happily working on his doctorate in linguistics. Now he's hip deep in sheep, mud, and collies. His late brother and mother had been well-suited to life on Seacliff Farm. Nichol? Not so much.

A Wonderful Story with Exquisite Narration
Revisado: 08-29-14
Would you listen to Conquer the Flames again? Why?
Yes, absolutely, and I intend to after I have listened to the previous books in the Langs Down series.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Conquer the Flames?
When Thorne rescues Ian from the wildfire. Another was when Ian rescued Thorne from the canteen.
What does William James bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Mr. James is a truly gifted narrator who was able to switch from an American accent to a rich and spot on Australian accent and making it sound easy to do! It almost makes me wonderful if he isn't Australian. He was able to voice each character uniquely, so much so that I didn't need the reminders of who was speaking.
Who was the most memorable character of Conquer the Flames and why?
I won't spell this correctly, but it was the cook, Cummi. A man of few words who made a huge impact on everyone's life at the station.
Any additional comments?
I'm off to buy the rest of the audiobooks in the series!

But that was before he accepted a side job assisting his boss' housebound agoraphobic nephew Caleb. Caleb is deceptively normal for a guy who hasn't left his apartment in three years, and his friendly, caring personality tugs on heartstrings Logan didn't know he had.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This is a lovely story about second chances and two people who desperately need them.
What was one of the most memorable moments of When One Door Opens?
When Logan reconnects with his friend Michael
What about K.C. Kelly’s performance did you like?
Just outstanding! His voicing for Logan was pitch-perfect

Someone Was Asleep At The Switch!
Revisado: 08-17-14
What disappointed you about The One Who Saves Me?
I'm a big fan of Dreamspinner products, Cardeno C and Paul Morey, BUT this was a real disappointment. There were several editing problems, there were continuity problems which surprise me that Paul Morey didn't do something about as he, in a single breath, mixed up the two main charachter's names. Finally, how is it that a boy raised in the northeast, whose parents have NO discernible accents, has a thick southern accent?!? It just seems that everyone involved with this book just phoned it in!
What could Cardeno C. have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Shortened it substantially. I just wanted to slap the two main characters across the chops and scream "Snap out of it!"
What didn’t you like about Paul Morey’s performance?
Did he choose the character voices or did someone tell him to give a boy raised in New York a southern accent?
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Paul Morey is a gifted narrator and I love his voice. Everything else I've heard him read has been outstanding. I don't know what happened on this book, but I hope whomever was in charge gets fired!

Staff Sergeant Jasper "Ace" Atchison takes one look at Private Sonny Daye and knows that every word on paper about him is pure, unadulterated bullshit. But Sonny is desperate, and although Ace isn't going to take him up on his offer of "anything", that doesn't mean he isn't tempted. Instead, Ace takes Sonny under his wing, protecting him when they're in the service and making plans with him when they get out.

Wonderful story, outstanding narration
Revisado: 08-08-14
What made the experience of listening to Racing for the Sun the most enjoyable?
This is a story where hard work, honesty, hope and love can overcome even the worst of nightmares. Amy Lane has become my favorite author of this genre and Nick Russo did an amazing job switching vocal intonations and accents with great aplomb. I hope Amy and Nick collaborate again in the near future!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Racing for the Sun?
When Sonny and Ace first meet.
Have you listened to any of Nick J. Russo’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Not yet, but I'm to look for other books he has narrated!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Sonny met Ace's mother.
Any additional comments?
I would HIGHLY recommend this story to any devotee of m2m romance!

This is an outstanding story that contains richly developed characters and truly great narration.
What did you like best about this story?
Although the story itself is quite good, clearly Charlie David's narration was my favorite part.
Which character – as performed by Charlie David – was your favorite?
All of them. It is clear that his fine acting skills make all the difference in the world to his ability to inhabit his characterizations.
If you could rename Hot Head, what would you call it?
