I will never listen to this narrator agai. He drops the last syllable of nearly every senten. it is distracting and annoyi. He makes it difficult to understand quite ofte.
The story is compelling and interesting in spite of the narrator. well documented.

The narrator detracts from the stories by having to breathe at the most awkward times. It's like he ran a marathon just before sitting down to read, never catching his breath. He accentuates this fault in his various voices. I would ask to exchange this performance for one done by another narrator, but it isn't available. So I suffer through...

Loved the story, but the way the narrator speaks when conveying emotion nearly turned me off the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, but it was quite off-putting when the narrator mispronounced "Weber" or "Weber Canyon" constantly during the last third of the book (local pronunciation is "Weeber", not "Weber"). This was distracting, especially when he got the pronunciation correct on all the other local names that are usually mispronounced.

Any additional comments?

I found the thick English accent Joan Hickson spoke in quite distracting, and easy to get lost trying to understand. I was pleasantly surprised to hear Hugh Fraser's voice come on as the narrator for "The Mysterious Affair at Styles", as he is the actor that played Hastings in the Poirot series on the BBC. I am an avid Christie fan, and I appreciate the plot twists and turns in these books.

Once one gets used to her accent, one can't help but admire the courage, strength, and intelligence of this remarkable woman. We'll worth all time and expense put into this book.
