For a man in such a prominent public position to candidly recount very personal physical and mental health issues, as well as to openly discuss some of the failings of the US health system, is a gift to readers. Adam Smith’s career and reputation could be in peril by his candor. I consider him very brave to reveal his illnesses, and how he struggled to cope. By writing this book he made a choice to hopefully help others, that is to serve the greater good. His story is well-told. I enjoyed listening.

Browder’s timely sequel to Red Notice is written with brutal honesty, uncovering sinister and illegal elements of many governments, particularly Purim’s Russia. Sadly some Americans are on this list; fortunately most are not. This non-fiction work is an audio “page turner.” Adam Grupper’s narration is flawless. I admire Browder’s tenacity and courage. I strongly recommend this book.

We liked the whole thing! Wish it went to 42 years, and beyond. Taylor writes as he sings; he leaves nothing on the table. It’s been a treat and an honor to listen to Break Shot. Highly recommend.

I did enjoy a glimpse of a secret government world, and feeling a part of the inner workings of Washington D.C. That being said, I expected more; I'm still wondering why I should care about the characters. Although I met some of them in an earlier Meltzer novel, they are still underdeveloped.

I was engaged in the story, certainly, but disappointed that there wasn't more depth. Consider this a good vacation read; entertaining, slightly informative regarding government history, and an escape from our non-espionage lives.

Narrator Scott Brick comes through, as always, with a stellar performance.

Story line weaker than most of Macomber's

I enjoy Debbie Macomber's books, including the Cedar Cove series. This final book of the series lost a little oomph compared to the others. Story lines seemed contrived and more 1940-ish than 21st century. If you've kept up the the series it's worth it to finish them off with this book, however it is not up to Ms. Macomber's usual standards.

Ms. Burr's narration is excellent.
