The Narrator was awesome. I enjoyed the story and it flowed beautifully. It truly keeps you wondering what will happen to her next and is this place haunted. The story is good tho ending was very good. I think others that enjoy this style of book will truly like it as well.

The narrator was absolutely Fantastic, his voice made the book even more interesting. I read with him and listened while driving, I think I enjoyed it more with his voice in my ear .

I could feel every emotion Jack and all of the others experienced from the very beginning of of this book. I love Jack and Stella, though I must admit, Stella frightened me at times. JD described characters so well I felt like if I passed one of them on the street I would know their name. I love this book, I think it's equally as good as 4MK series which I burned through those with a quickness!
You won't regret listening to this book!!

Awesome short stories!!

Excellent narration and perfectly Stephen King if you're a FAN like I have been for 40+ years you know what I'm saying. Several of these short stories aren't so "short" which is a huge bonus. I wasn't able to stop reading/listening until after 2 am...I didn't want to stop reading yet I didn't want the stories to end!! You should enjoy these too!

Screenplay like with pictures in my head

This was fun to listen to and create the movie in my head!! James Patterson has been a favorite of mine for years and I couldn't let this book slip by. I loved the brother sister inaction and their ability to work together as cops and shysters when their dad's life depends on it!!

The changing of the picture

I loved Harry's philosophical way of looking at life. I was amazed with Dorian's picture and the changes it took on rather than Dorian himself. Dorian himself found out that even if the portrait changed it was still all catching up to him.

I loved how Sam grew up to be such a loving generous strong man!! Also he was able to keep his long-term friends. His compassion for others never waned ❤️

If you grew up during this time period, you can see everything in your mind and feel everything in your body they talk about! Thank you for the memories and sharing theirs. I'll probably listen again in a few months just to feel that way again.

Painfully Amazingly PERFECT!!!

I loved this book! I didn't want to put it down. I cried, I laughed, I felt almost every struggle and every step she took! Brave is one description I would give her, yet somehow she raised up from ashes to be a successful, loving and reflection of the little girl she once was!! I'm so glad she carries that little girl, who has her back, with her still today. I will recommend this book to all females of all colors and ages. There is much to be learned from Viola Davis!!!
