Timeless wisdom, excellent presentation!
Revisado: 02-06-24
I absolutely love this book! Such great wisdom presented in simple story form which makes it easy to listen to & digest. The key lessons are short, sweet, & very succinct. Narrator had a pleasant voice & pace & was easy & enjoyable to listen to. This is Definitely a book to keep & read again.
This has made my list of my top fav books of wisdom, next to Illusions by Richard Bach and Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.
I highly recommend people of all ages read this book at least twice, and implement the pillars into their own lives.
I will read it again this week & take notes about each pillar as well as note where I can improve in each area & the actions I will take.
My daughter is 15 & she also is focusing on self improvement with me. She is interested in listening to the book & downloaded it to listen tomorrow. I think the story form as well as the short & sweet lessons will help her to glean much from the book.

Historia
When a letter from his supposedly deceased mother finds its way into his hands, life changes in an instant for international pop star Bodhi Beckett. Reeling from the deception of those closest to him, Bodhi spirals out of control and is sent to a secluded mansion in the coastal mountains of Southern California for some rest and relaxation. But the retreat proves to be anything but relaxing when a raging wildfire sets the landscape around him ablaze. While escaping the flames, Bodhi rescues Breeze, a quirky, pet-loving woman, and together the two fight their way to safety.

THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE BOOK 📖❤️
Revisado: 09-07-23
This was an amazing read! I absolutely love this book. It gives a clear understanding about what true love is without being to much. The performance was excellent and so was the overall. The only thing that I’m kinda mad about is why Audible it doesn’t have the second one! I can’t wait to read the second one.❤️

Historia
George Orwell depicts a gray, totalitarian world dominated by Big Brother and its vast network of agents, including the Thought Police - a world in which news is manufactured according to the authorities' will and people live tepid lives by rote. Winston Smith, a hero with no heroic qualities, longs only for truth and decency. But living in a social system in which privacy does not exist and where those with unorthodox ideas are brainwashed or put to death, he knows there is no hope for him.

Messed up story
Revisado: 12-26-22
Now I’m curious as to who exactly George Orwell was to come up with such a storyline…
Performance was great. I read this bcs of all the references to 1984 in regard to our current societal situation.. I can see some similarities unfortunately. Read at your own risk. A bit disturbing…

Who is he going to work with, and will that partner be able to handle him...including his (shall we say) slightly inflated ego of himself? Even if that ego is deserved, just a little? Chief is learning to be a little more supportive, except when Chief of Security Wulfson decides a few students deserve a little more intense training. With all of the additional injuries Kaiden suffers in his extra-curricular training, will he succumb to the blue goop pain killer?

The more I listen to this series, the more it grows on me, the more I love it! I love the characters and their development & growth as they continue at the school. I love the humor which is definitely better in this novel than in the first. I am looking forward to reading book 3!

Good mix of action & humor
Revisado: 12-08-22
When I started this book I wasn’t sure I would like it. It took me a while to really get into it, probably mostly due to the last books I was reading about the Tasmanians (such a bada** series!)
After the first couple chapters tho this book was growing on me and I was appreciating Cayden’s humor as well as the increasing action. I will continue on with the series as I’m sure the future books will be equally enjoyable and action-packed.

Historia
Repeated over and over by those answering the call, it would empty bars or a base or a city of Tasmanians, because no member of the elite unit would desert a brother in trouble, reinforcing their unofficial motto, Et Anima Una, Of One Mind. Jolie is the only female in the elite all male Tasmanian special forces group and loving every crazy minute of it; well, except for being made a squad leader. A duty no Tasmanian would want since it means having to make life and death decisions that impact their brothers' lives.

But can her martial arts enable her to survive the treachery of the military brass, the grueling of the school, the prejudices of the instructors, and the testosterone of an all-male class.

10 stars! Very engaging!
Revisado: 11-28-22
I admit I wasn’t sure how this book would go for me but I am so glad I gave it a listen! It was very engaging, never a dull moment! The chapters flowed nicely, and the reader not too fast nor too slow nor too monotone. Very well balanced.
I especially appreciated the exquisite detail to the martial arts moves throughout as I have been a martial arts fan since childhood.
My older brother watched king fu and Bruce Lee movies regularly, my mother took us to Tae Kwon Do for several years then when my brother in law opened a class for self defense we did that for several years. I have been wanting to get back into it and after reading this book that desire is so much stronger!
Well done, author, on an amazing book! I love to hear women kick ass! I don’t feel like this was over the top tho like some heroes are written. This heroine was more believable, more realistic to me and I am eager to begin the next book.

Getting started with the concept of prepping can be a case of information overload. There is so much to think about and so much to do and purchase that people often give up on the idea before they even start. This audiobook is especially for those people, it tells them all about the first item any prepper should have ready - a bug-out bag. It explains what bugging out means and why they should have a bug-out bag with survival kit for 72 hours ready to go.

Short, sweet & to the point
Revisado: 09-29-22
Excellent short book, full of very useful, pertinent information. The reader has a voice easy to listen to and he speaks at just the right pace- slow enough to really hear and understand what he is saying without being so slow that it’s irritating.
The information is very useful and he recaps each section with a list of what items he just talked about. I will be listening to this again as I review & organize my bug out bags.

Excellent advice for life
Revisado: 09-20-22
This was an excellent book. So much great advice to live a fulfilling and good life. I want my daughter (age 14) to also listen to this as I believe the wisdom contained within will help her to better navigate the turbulent teenage years.
The reader has a voice that is kind and soft. It is easy to listen to. He doesn’t read too fast or too slow nor is he robotic in his delivery.
