Historia
Rose Mae Lolley is a fierce and dirty girl, long-suppressed under flowery skirts and bow-trimmed ballet flats. As "Mrs. Ro Grandee" she's trapped in a marriage that's thick with love and sick with abuse. Her true self has been bound in the chains of marital bliss in rural Texas, letting "Ro" make eggs, iron shirts, and take her punches.

Loved It
Revisado: 07-17-11
I have listened to all of Joshilyn Jackson's books. And none of them have ever failed to disappoint. Her characters are always so real and the stories captivating. I never want to have to push pause and am sad when the end finally comes and there is no more. She's a wonderful narrator. I can't wait for the next one!

In the turbulent summer of 1974, Kate Mularkey has accepted her place at the bottom of the eighth-grade social food chain. Then, to her amazement, the "coolest girl in the world" moves in across the street and wants to be her friend. Tully Hart seems to have it all - beauty, brains, ambition. On the surface they are as opposite as two people can be: Kate, doomed to be forever uncool, with a loving family who mortifies her at every turn.

Worth a listen
Revisado: 07-17-11
I really enjoyed the relationship between the characters even though at times they were both so frustrating. Unfortunately by the end it became very predictable and was glad it was over. The narrator was good.

Historia
There are 62 LEGO bricks for every person in the world, and at age 30, Jonathan Bender realized that he didn't have a single one of them. While reconsidering his childhood dream of becoming a master model builder for The LEGO Group, he discovers the men and women who are skewing the averages with collections of hundreds of thousands of LEGO bricks. What is it about the ubiquitous, brightly colored toys that makes them so hard for everyone to put down?

Unfortunately Dull
Revisado: 07-17-11
I really wanted to like this book but I couldn't finish it. The narrator was dull and uninspiring. I would probably get the actual book and read it because the subject matter was interesting. Although it has sparked an interest in Lego again.
