This is one of my favorite series from book 1. Love the characters and the story keeps you on the edge of your seat! Amazing as always!

Great story and narrators! Tiny confusing

This books is good and the narration is amazing! I did get a little confused with all the names flying around and I didnt really understand where everyone was at all the time but in the end thats not too big a deal. Worth the listen for sure!

Funny and sexy!

I loved the female lead (Sloan) in this book. She was witty, funny, likable, and unflappable. I found myself laughing the whole way through. But she also has a haunted past but she doesnt let that get her down. The back and forth between her and “mobster” is great! Not to mention the audio is amazing by both narrators. Loved it!

Some holes in plot

First off let me address the narrator. The female narrator wasn’t the worst ive ever heard. But she was very flat and when strong emotion was needed she didnt change her tone at all. There were some holes in the story and times that needed more follow up on an event but never did. Overall it was ok and i am intrigued enough to try the 2nd book.

Such an emotional and real book

This is one of my favorite books in the series. The character development is amazing. Butch is a fav of mine and it wonderful to see him find where he is meant to me be. I also loved the bits about John and how he is dealing with things. The feels!! The scene with him and Wrath and what the King does for him after... amazing and very humanizing. Love love this book and all the feels that go with it!

Good story just a few issues

I really enjoyed the story of the book and the characters. The narrator was pretty good but kept the same tone the whole time. If the character was in pain, angry , in the throws of passion whatever it all sounds the same. There were some situations the character got into that were pretty upsetting *ie date rape* that were glossed over. No real anger about it or emotional fall out just “hmm well that was weird”. Like i said i had some issues but over all a good story and im interested to start the next one

Very slowwww and breathy the whole way

I had high hopes for this book but it did fall short. I was pretty bored through 3/4 of the book and even skipped mins here and there. I thought about stopping but kept thinking something exciting HAD to happen soon! The last 45 mins i think were the most interesting and left you on a cliffhanger. I dont think i could handle number too even to find out what happens.

One of my all time favorite series!

This series is an amazing start to an equally amazing series! Part adventure, part detective/thriller, part romance. There is so much to love in these books and the complex line of characters just adds to this series. Kelly Armstrong is great at giving just the right amount of detail that you are instantly sucked into Rockdon like you are walking through the town. Never a dull moment and sucked me in right away with caseys back story. I cant say enough good things about this book and how well it is written.

Therese Plummer is now my all time favorite narrator because of her amazing performance in this book. I have listened to other books that may not have been in my genre just because she is the narrator and i know it will be done in the best way. She is amazing at giving each character their own distinct voice that is not overly done and keeps the flow of the story right on track.

Amazing as always

This series has become one of my favorite series ever to read. The characters are so unique that I always look forward to hearing about what they have been up to. I laughed and i cried during this book and can NOT wait to hear when the next one is coming out. Hands down Terese Plummer is the best narrator ive heard and she fits this series perfectly! More Rockdon Please!
