In the aftermath of his terrible war, Ender Wiggin disappeared, and a powerful voice arose: the Speaker for the Dead, who told the true story of the Bugger War. Now, long years later, a second alien race has been discovered by Portuguese colonists on the planet Lusitania. But again the aliens' ways are strange and frightening...again, humans die. And it is only the Speaker for the Dead, who is also Ender Wiggin the Xenocide, who has the courage to confront the mystery...and the truth.

this is my favorite of the 4 in this series
Revisado: 03-14-24
the character development is probably the most significant out of any story. read Ender's Game first, it's a fantastic book. but the main character from that book grow leaps n bounds here. every other character introduced in this book grows in ways that gives you hope. it really is an amazing story told with a fantastic cast. A++

The expanded edition includes a new epilogue in four parts, adding an extra hour to the audiobook. Pride, greed, and power have driven men to do the unthinkable - including selling out their nations and unsuspected citizens to the most corrupt and destructive “invisible” global leaders on Earth. But how did this happen on American soil? How did the downfall begin and who were the predators that the “land of the free and home of the brave” fell victim to? And is all hope lost?

fantastic information, reading this after having finished Doug Valentine's Strength of the Wolf and Paul L. Williams' Operation Gladio. Read those Next if you haven't already. then A Warning from History by Cory Hughes & Separation of Business & State by Ryan Dawson. you're all caught up on these important and missing parts of History.

Historia
After his retirement from the Marine Corps in the early 1930s, General Smedley D. Butler embarked on a national lecture tour, where he gave his speech about how commercial interests benefit from war. The speech was well received and he wrote an expanded version of it, which was published as War Is A Racket. The work was published by Reader's Digest as a condensed book supplement, which added to its popularity.
