was the narrator AI?
Revisado: 12-05-24
delivery was very flat in places. there were questions asked but you couldn't tell right away that they were questions from the way they were said.

what was up with the music?
Revisado: 09-14-24
at the beginning and end, there was background music that was very distracting and annoying. if had been a lot quieter it would have been easier to ignore. I hope that doesn't happen with every book from here forward 😕

Historia
Lissianna has been spending her centuries pining for Mr. Right, not just a quick snack, and this sexy guy she finds in her bed looks like he might be a candidate. But there's another, more pressing issue: her tendency to faint at the sight of blood . . . an especially annoying quirk for a vampire. Of course it doesn't hurt that this man has a delicious-looking neck. What kind of cold-blooded vampire woman could resist a bite of that?

Terrible audio
Revisado: 07-24-24
The narration was amateur at best. The narrator took long breaks between sentences quite a few times she had a lot of background noises like doors closing or her taking a drink. Her voice as monotone and the way she read dialog made the female characters sound like airheads. I feel like the performance killed the story for me.

Narrator ruined it
Revisado: 06-08-24
the mispronounced names and lack of emotion in the storytelling kept me from getting "lost in the story" I had a hard time understanding a lot of what she said as she spoke quickly at times with jarring voice changes for characters. At times it sounded like she was trying to overpronuicate evey word, then she'd go into a heavy Scottish accent. There was just no flow to the story telling.
