A really fun listen

We bought this book to listen to on our move across the country, and at first I wasn't interested, but as the story progressed I began to really enjoy it. The personal notes that were included we a very pleasant touch to the book. I thought it was going to be about the encyclopedia more, but turned out to be pleasantly surprised. I found myself sympathizing with the author's duel quests in the book and enjoyed it thoroughly.

I bought this book, also, because I enjoyed the Twilight books. Stephanie Meyer has a way of telling stories that grab a hold of you. This book is no different. I was immediately hooked on the characters and their growth and love that the entire story is journey.
With regards to the narrator, I found her voice perfect for the characters, although, as often the case with a female narrator, the gruff male voices came up short, but her story telling ability was fantastic.
