Self marketing
Revisado: 11-24-14
What disappointed you about No More Cold Calling?
I stopped listening to this audio book after the third chapter. I found that she droned on and on on the advantages of referral marketing, but had not brought one single ounce of value. I asked for the audio book to be refunded.
This being said, I believe she might be onto something, and will check the real book, where I can skip her self-marketing blahblah.

Perhaps once a decade, a book comes along that transforms people's lives in a very real, measurable way. This is one of them. Crucial Conversations exploded onto the scene 10 years ago and revolutionized the way people communicate when stakes are high, opinions vary, and emotions run strong. Since then, millions of people have learned how to hold effective crucial conversations and have dramatically improved their lives and careers thanks to the methods outlined in this book. Now, the authors have revised their best-selling classic to provide even more ways to help you take the lead in any tough conversation.

Good book, HORRIBLE reading
Revisado: 01-26-14
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Yes, good contents. I have a strong preference for "Difficult conversations" by Stone, Patton, Heen, but I found Crucial Conversations quite complementary.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
I found his constant emphasis on almost every word he read was unbearable, to the extent that I actually stopped listening to the book for a while, and took it again later when I had nothing else to listen to (I listen in my car only)

I feel cheated
Revisado: 06-24-13
Any additional comments?
My review is not about the audio part, but about the book. Kaufman blahblahs around, and then spends I don't know how much time talking about the history of yoga, which I don't care at all about. I feel this was just some space filler, and hence feel cheated.
