Historia
What would you do if you could go back in time and change your life? Which regrets and mistakes would you fix? What would your life look like now? In Future Proof, an experimental medical treatment goes wrong, which allows Sam Harris to do exactly that. He starts by standing up to the kids who bullied him at school and then sets about trying to fix the mess he made of the rest of his life. However, as he discovers, changing his past doesn’t always guarantee a brighter future.

Historia
Gina Jackson’s family has grown smaller in recent years. First, she lost her grandmother, then two years ago she lost her beloved grandfather. Now, the only person Gina truly cares about is her mother, Helen. Unfortunately, neither woman saw the smooth New Yorker, Bruce Franklin, coming. Clement has become like an old friend
Revisado: 08-15-24
I read several of Mr. Pearson's works before happening upon "Who Sent Clement", and really enjoy his story-telling style. I quickly devoured the four original books, and the follow-up "Angel of Camden" series. I really love this character, hard-edged but with a heart of gold (if you are worthy of it anyway). The author does an excellent job of building up a main character and story for Clement to drop into, and solve problems in his own personal manner. These books take on pretty serious situations with a solid dash of humor. I hope there are many more!

Historia
Sir Charles Huxley, a former government minister, kept a dark secret - a secret he should have taken to the grave when he died in 1999. His son, William, now lives an uneventful life in his father’s shadow. One evening, William has an encounter which sets off an escalating series of sinister events, culminating in a damning revelation about his father’s past. That revelation drags William into the darkest of blackmail plots. That is until a man working at his local bar steps forward and offers help.

Even better than the first!
Revisado: 07-16-24
After reading many other books from Mr. Pearson, I decided to give this series a run. Book One really grabbed me about 30% of the way in, and now finishing Book Two. Clement is a helluva character, and look forward to the rest of the series. Excellent character development, and interesting story lines delivered in an entertaining manner. Well done!

Enjoyable story, happy to find out there are several more books to follow. I love the more "realistic" time travel stories that are more of a reset life. This series is "time" well spent!

Historia
Gary and Clare Kirk are set to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary...except they’re not. Childless, and with so little in common, the couple finally accept there’s no good reason to remain married. However, Gary’s idea of an amicable divorce settlement differs significantly from Clare’s, and tensions between the couple soon mount. Money, as is often the case, is at the root of their disagreement. As Gary explores every avenue to evade his wife’s financial demands, he inadvertently finds himself sitting opposite a relationship resolution advisor by the name of Edith Stimp.

Nice play on twists of fate and time
Revisado: 11-26-23
I really enjoyed the story, and the characters were well drawn out. Time travel has an integral role, but does not dominate the pages. This is more about the age old "What If I could change....." and the potential ramifications, as well as lessons to be learned. I would definitely recommend this book! This was my first read of Keith Pearson, and added a few more to my library as soon as I finished the last chapter.

Historia
England, AD 1266. The kingdom lies in ruins after years of bitter civil war. Simon de Montfort is dead, slaughtered in battle, and his surviving followers fight on with the fury of despair. Known as the Disinherited, these landless men infest the forests and highways and prey on the common folk. Hugh Longsword, a common soldier, fights for the King against the rebels who threaten to destroy England. He is taken into the service of the Lord Edward, King Henry’s eldest son, and made to work as a spy. Edward sends him into the wild north country, home to the most dangerous rebel captains: men such as Sir John d’Eyvill and his savage cousin Nicholas, known as the Beast for his cruelty.

Excellent series
Revisado: 10-31-22
I have read more historical fiction books from this era than I can count, and thoroughly enjoyed all six of this series. Marston York is a tremendous narrator as well. In many of these type of books, the main character tends to rise from the bottom a little too quickly. Hugh Longsword felt more natural, relatable, and found himself in the midst of splendid historical moments during the reign of Edward I. If you like Griff Hosker, Bernard Cornwell and the like, give this a try.

Enjoyable story and finale
Revisado: 03-12-21
I was sorry to hear the original author had passed, but was happy he was able to leave enough of the final book to finish the story. The author of the final story did a seamless job integrating with the first two books. Interesting story, would definitely recommend taking the journey!
