Fourteen-year-old Greg Dixon is living a nightmare. Attending boarding school outside of Boston, he is separated from his family when a pandemic strikes. Historia
My name is Kazimir Wolfe. People call me "Kaz", except they don’t. I never use my real name; it’s too dangerous, for me and for anyone I meet. I’m on the run from the law, who think I killed my aunt, and from whoever did kill her, because they want to finish the job. So, I move around a lot, working construction or whatever job I can find. It’s a lonely life. I don’t let anyone get close...people who get close to me end up dead. Why? I’m a wizard. The world’s only wizard, as far as I know.

kudos to the author for taking what should be a sleazeball of a character and turning him into a likeable as well as honorable character. The narrator did a fantastic job and really convinced me. I listened to this all in one sitting, which has never happened before with me.

The pursuit of the killers not only uncovers drug and gun distribution rigs in America but also unveils a major plot to supply a secret weapon to the Taliban and Al Qaida and subplots of the State Department, Canadian spy agencies, NATO, and the CIA.

the narrator ruined this for me
Revisado: 01-24-20
the story seemed intriguing. An aboriginal chieftain becomes a crime lord to better his tribe folk and it has a tremendous scope involving special forces, several law enforcement agencies and world wide travel, but the narrator has a flat monotone voice that does not convey any emotion at all and really made me considering giving up the book.
