I got through the whole thing. However I wish I’d given up long before now.
To me this was a hot boring mess. The story was all over the place.
I very rarely write bad reviews. I can usually find something good.
The narrator did not differentiate much between character voices. Other than that it was an ok narration.

My New Favorite Author

I recently found this author and I can’t stop reading these books. This one was as good as the other 3 I’ve read. I have a favorite until I read the next one. I loved this story, the characters and the narrator. I can’t wait to get my next one.

Excellence All Around

Everything about this book was excellent! The writing, narration, characters and story. I didn’t want it to end. I discovered this author a few weeks ago. This was my 4th book. Can’t wait to read them all!!!

I Enjoyed This Book

This book was very good. The only thing is I agree with others that it read like a young adult book for more than half of it. Then changed gears. This book keeps you guessing as to “who dunnit”. The characters were believable. The narrator was very good. I recommend

What A Unique Story!

This has to be the most uniquely written book I’ve listened to in quite awhile. I loved everything about this one. The story had me hooked from the get go. I couldn’t listen fast enough. The ending was not disappointing at all. I’ve listened to so many lately with disappointing endings I was so happy with this one.
The characters were great. The narrator was amazing! I highly recommend this book!

Great Book, Good Narration, but….

The audio was horrendous. I’m not sure I’ve ever felt the need to include this in a review before because I’ve never experienced anything quite like it.
This was such a good and interesting book with great characters! But the audio made it almost impossible to finish. But I did it.
I couldn’t even listen with headphones as there was just too much craziness going on in the background like you could hear an old cassette tape spinning. The narrator’s breath could be heard all through. Headphones just exacerbated the annoying problem. I never got used to the abrupt ending of each chapter and the time it took the new one to start.
The book was so good I’d normally not want it to end but this time it couldn’t end fast enough. I suggest actually reading this one.

A Real Winner!

This has to be my favorite audiobook of the year so far. I love the way the story was told. The story was captivating and unfortunately all too real. You can tell the reviewers that have never been in or known someone in the abusive situation. Not all get this far but many of those are worse. I felt every character was believable. There are many lessons to be learned as well.

Loved This Audiobook

I Loved Everything

I loved the story, the characters and especially the the whole production of the audiobook. Everyone involved was amazing. I love these kind of audiobooks opposed to the just reading by a narrator. The story was a real “who dunnit’ it kept me guessing. I highly recommend!
