Historia
Many of us dread having to convey our ideas to others, often feeling ill-equipped, anxious, and awkward. Public speaking experts help by focusing on planned communication experiences such as slide presentations, pitches, or formal talks. Yet, most of our professional and personal communication occurs in spontaneous situations that creep up on us and all too often leave us flustered and stumbling for words. Stanford lecturer, podcast host, and communication expert Matt Abrahams provides tangible, actionable skills to help even the most anxious of speakers succeed when speaking spontaneously.

The story
Revisado: 07-26-24
This is a book. You’re supposed to be able to hear what the person talking about is talking about.
The music and extra sounds are WAY too loud, I have no idea what’s being said most of the time.
There is no need for music in an audiobook. If you’re going to put noise/music in an audiobook at least make it so you can hear what the person is saying.
This is very upsetting considering I really want to hear this information!

Historia
The Courage to Be Disliked, already an enormous best seller in Asia with more than 3.5 million copies sold, demonstrates how to unlock the power within yourself to be the person you truly want to be. Using the theories of Alfred Adler, one of the three giants of 20th-century psychology, The Courage to Be Disliked follows an illuminating conversation between a philosopher and a young man. The philosopher explains to his pupil how each of us is able to determine our own life, free from the shackles of past experiences, doubts, and the expectations of others.

What it means
Revisado: 06-06-24
It’s really a slap in the face on how to look at your past and yourself. I’ve read a lot of self help books and this one basically says “you have one life, suck it up buttercup” and I love that!
