Awesome for stracraft lovers.

The story is written well, the plot while nothing groundbracking also works. It provides an insight into the protoss hitory which is something i always wanted to see more of ever since i played starcraft. If only it was dubbed by multiple actors and they had added sound effects and music it would hve been perfect even with the unnecessary leaning on romantic elements this time around.

Not worth it.
Revisado: 04-06-22
The book was a complete disappointment after the 1st part. It gives some insight in the lives of the windrunner family it has interesting interactions between the characters and some carefree developements. After that the author is "chained" by the complete crap blizzard pulled off in the last 2 expansions. The lack of freedom is quite noticable. The book becomes an explanation essay of the absurd character development concerning Sylvanas. It fails miserably even in that, because the author failed to accent the shift of perspective over time Sylvanas had on an emotional level. It simply doesn't makes sense. There wasn't enough attention to key points and characters like Anduin, the developement of the windrunner sisters' relationships after her resurrection. Lirith was present only as a flat plot device that presumably drives Sylvanas into despair. The book fails to be a complete self sufficient story because of those things. It's written with the expactation that the reader already knows all those things and this even for a video game book is unacceptable. It leaves the feeling that it was hastily patched up rushed and unfinished.
