Amazing guide
Revisado: 05-02-17
All couples with communication hiccups or not even that, people who simply want to improve communication with your partner and their romantic relationship, this is a great guide. Especially for those who aren't the most comfortable opening/speaking up or are timid. This book provides very good tips on how to convey a message in a subtle way.

Great!

Ah! I listened to it for a couple hours in a couple of days until I got to the point when I had to listen to the rest of it all at once. And so I did. Very good performance which was able to deliver the story right.

Enjoyable listen
Revisado: 03-14-17
I only listened to it because I bought it for my nephew and I had it in my library. I had already watched the movie so it was just sitting there without calling my name. But one day I decided to listen to it just to see if the movie really stuck to the book. I was surprised... I flew through this one. Of course the book are always better than movies but I thought due to the fact that I had already watched the movie, I was going to be bored by the audiobook. I was wrong. The performance was great. Kept me wanting to listen!

Historia
Marvellously atmospheric tale of strangers summoned to a grand but neglected villa on the Italian coast. Each of them has been named in a will, but nobody knows their benefactress.... Four very different people are named in a will. Delia, an opera singer robbed of her voice by illness; George, an idealistic scientist who cannot face what his skills have created; Marjorie, desperately poor and unable to dislodge her writer’s block; and Lucius, ostensibly in control but whose personal life is in chaos.

Entertaining
Revisado: 03-09-17
Overall, to me, this is an entertaining book. Easy to follow. Light story. Nothing that will make my heart skip a beat but it kept me wanting to listen. During the shower, while working, etc. I would recommend it to someone who wants to just be entertained with a cute story but not to a thrill seeker.

Historia
Marie-Laure lives with her father in Paris near the Museum of Natural History, where he works as the master of its thousands of locks. When she is six, Marie-Laure goes blind and her father builds a perfect miniature of their neighborhood so she can memorize it by touch and navigate her way home. When she is 12, the Nazis occupy Paris and father and daughter flee to the walled citadel of Saint-Malo, where Marie-Laure’s reclusive great-uncle lives in a tall house by the sea. With them they carry what might be the museum’s most valuable and dangerous jewel.

I still can't finish this book...
Revisado: 01-28-17
Would you try another book from Anthony Doerr and/or Zach Appelman?
I don't know about that. I've been listening to this book for a looooong time. I've even started and finished a couple other books in between. I just can't get engaged with this one. I don't know if it's the narrator or the story or a combination of both.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Not necessarily the story but maybe I'd start by adding narrators to see if that makes it easier to listen too.
Could you see All the Light We Cannot See being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
Maybe then I would really understand what the story is (other than Nazi war). Not a TV series though. A regular length concise movie maybe.
