Good book, deceiving cover page.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Neutral
Did The Power of I Am inspire you to do anything?
Yes,
Any additional comments?
I liked this book in terms of positive reinforcement and self-esteem. I do criticize the cover page a little by not reflecting the fact that this is a religious / preacher based content. Nothing wrong with it, it is well presented and not too biased toward denominations but I still like to know what I am buying before the audio book starts. Some people may not appreciate to get a "self-help" motivational book and find that it all centered around god in a preaching type layout. Again, the content is good I wish for a better representation on the cover page.

Historia
Detective Harry Bosch has retired from the LAPD, but his half-brother, defense attorney Mickey Haller, needs his help. With the secret help of his former LAPD partner, Lucia Soto, he turns the investigation inside the police department. But as Bosch gets closer to discovering the truth, he makes himself a target.

Historia
Scott Adams has likely failed at more things than anyone you’ve ever met or anyone you’ve even heard of. So how did he go from hapless office worker and serial failure to the creator of Dilbert, one of the world’s most famous syndicated comic strips, in just a few years? In How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big, Adams shares the strategy he has used since he was a teen to invite failure in, to embrace it, then pick its pocket.

THE book to read
Revisado: 06-03-15
I read many books on well-being, success and motivation. This book wraps it altogether in sometimes a serious tone and other times insertions of humor… The Dilbert type humor we all love as well.
The author keeps it real, touches on real issues with personal examples at hand. It made it very credible for me, it is unique and filled with practical examples you can use even before you are done listening the whole book.
Despite it's slightly sarcastic title, it is filled with positivism.
I never really re-read or re-listen to a book but this one will be revisited for sure!
It's the book on top of my list. I highly recommend it.

Good book - narrative role playing is a turnoff
Revisado: 10-13-13
How could the performance have been better?
No need for role playing the narrator imitating a women voice makes it awkward and kills the story momentum.
