Very entertaining story of the journey Pallant takes to learn the history of his sourdough starter. Filled with interesting history, science, and some recipes. I enjoyed Henning’s performance.

Nice story

The story was interesting and complex. I had to keep reminding myself that this is an Irish story. The American accents were confusing. The mixing of readers was also confusing. Their readings were clear and with feeling; but I couldn’t imago any of them in Ireland

I loved the story. Grace is a science nerd but he’s also very human. Rusty is believable. I hope this story is made into a movie and wonder how Rusty will be portrayed. Although this is a great stand-alone story, I see lots of possibilities for sequels.

After watching another movie based on the book, I wondered what I was missing so I got this version from Audible. I not only got the full version of a wonderful story; but, with different narrators reading the parts I never guessed as to who was saying what. I’ll look for more like this.

Unbelievable

The main character is a cosseted 20 year old who constantly complains that she isn't treated like a woman. She acts like a 12 year old. This is too much to believe. Giving up in chapter 2.

Well done story excellent performance

Another nice romance by Lisa Kleypas with the usual excellent performance by Rosalyn Landor. I got the ebook along with the audio version. At about 90% through the ebook there are some jumbled text paragraphs which have been sorted out in the audio version. Even though the secret is hinted at in beginning of the story when the whole truth came out later there was still something of an "Ah" moment. Enjoyable read.

I enjoyed the complicated story. Well done. One thing that didn't ring true to me was a Yank "tucking in" and having a C.V. Yanks "dig in" and have resumes. Brits "tuck in" and have C.V.s. The characters didn't visit the UK either so I couldn't resolve where they picked up those terms. It's a small bother and didn't stop me from reading to the end. I enjoy Kristen Ashley's British stories and will probably stick with those in the future.

Under Locke seems targeted for YA

Callie Dalton did a great job with the narration. There was never any confusion between the various characters' voices. Iris was 24 but acted like she was 16. I would think most people having gone through the troubles she faced would have matured earlier than usual instead of still acting like a high-schooler at her age. I'm willing to suspend some disbelief but her immaturity was too much.

Strange story about Norse gods living with the rest of us. I loved the way the plot progressed. The author was the narrator. I believe this made the experience even better. There are times in other books when I suspect the narrator didn't really understand what the author meant. Listening to Douglas Adams narrate his own book allowed me to visualize the story as it went along. The author gave enough clues by the end of the story so I could be comfortable when the story finished.
