The Storyline and Narrators are amazing

This book is a must listen. I’m considering getting the hard copy. I truly enjoyed listening to the narrators and the way each narrator portrayed their characters was spot on. The twist at the end was completely unexpected. Highly recommended.

Great Story, Terrible Narration

Love the book. Narration, not so much.

The story was just as great as I expected it to be as are all of Cassie’s shadowhunters series. However the narrator made me cringe for most of the book. His portrayal of Jace’s voice as a “surfer dude”, Clari as whiny and depressed Simon as a depressed slow speaking “surfer dude, Izzy as a whiny teenager and Jem who should have a British accent but definitely didn’t were horrible. Mispronunciation of names etc. The narration was just bad all around. I really hope they give the narrating job to someone else for the next book. I mean I’ll still get the audible but I know I won’t be happy about it.

I love the way Jim Dale narrates the books. The voices always stay the same and his enthusiasm while narrating is top notch. I’ve loved these books for years and being able to listen to them while at working or at home is great.
