Preppers, you'll like this one!

Of all the scary scenarios that could occur as a result of surprise attacks on infrastructure, the effects of an EMP detonation over our beloved country (yours or mine) is to me the most frightening possibility I could imagine.

I listen to SHTF books because, as a fledgling prepper, who really, really plans to feed and water myself and my big family, I always gain knowledge about skills we need to hone and stuff we need to have on hand.

This book kinda pointed out some important ideas for enhancing peace mind should such a scenario come to fruition.

Terminal Lucidity? Of course!

Anything written / narrated by Anthony Peake is welcomed and listened to or read (as hard-copy) by me.

His perspectives are invigorating, and I wish I could have an in-person meeting with him just so I could look into the eyes of the man who wrote such books for us.

When he spoke of "Terminal Lucidity," I recalled several instances that occurred a day or two before four of my close family members transitioned from "here" to beyond the veil. what happened is just as he described.

Nasty and vulgar

The story insults my intelligence, the female narrator sounds like her throat and mouth are full of crackers. This is among the worst audible books I've had the displeasure of wasting a credit on. I got through 12 hours, sort of, fell asleep a couple times, and didn't bother to go back to where I might have dozed off.

A Believable, Silly Book!

This is a story written for people who need silliness and laughter breaks. I gave it 5 stars because I was in need of such a break today, it was a mood-lifter!

The characters are funny and unique. The happenings are believable, especially if you're someone who just wants to do your thing but nobody wants to let you.

Yes. It will put you to sleep

Holy Hannah! This book ushered sleep in and sheep-counting OUT! It's sometimes hilariously funny and, at the same time, quite seriously informative about things I've never even thought about. I'd recommend it to anyone who has trouble falling asleep... but beware... as you fall asleep it's gonna make ya giggle yourself awake a few times in amusement and wonder. Maybe I'll listen to it while I'm wide awake because it's quite interesting, actually.

The author's expertise and way of bringing light for understanding the principles of Astrology is perfect!

i loved everything the author presented. I've listened to the book many times, and, each time I do that, I learn more! Although I've studied and applied my understanding to natal readings for many clients over the years, I think I would leave done a better job of it were I to have had this book when I first started out.

The Narrator and The Stories

There's nothing I disliked about this collection! I had never listened to or read anything by the author, but I have immediately become a fan and will search out everything he wrote...hopefully the same Narrator will bring the stories to life. Chapter 13, "The Man Upstairs," was a fun little romance adventure and I'm wondering if the vintage 70's song, "Knock Three Times," by Tony Orlando and Dawn, was inspired by this particular story. I love the Butler Jeaves.
