One of the most honest things Lewis does is let you know in the introduction that he was enamored by SBF and caused his friend to invest with him. So at the outset you know- this author is going to try and sell you SBF so he can save face.
Thereafter he tries to wow you with SBF's exploits and, whenever possible, try and minimize or explain away his wrongs.
I can confidently tell you that every fraudster will attempt to confuse you with doublespeak or convince you that you are just unable to understand whatever aspect of the opaque investment you are questioning.
There are far better, and more even handed accounts out there... this is a mitigation report prepared to influence the public and ultimately the sentencing court.
