Historia
Shelby Morris came to Holiday Bay after receiving a huge inheritance from a woman she'd never met which she'd been destined to share with two half-sisters she'd never knew existed. It took some time for the three very different siblings to settle the estate in a manner that was agreeable to all of them, but in the end, it was decided that Shelby would stay and take care of things.

A bit disappointed
Revisado: 03-16-25
I’m a long time cozy mystery fan (since childhood) and have listened to thousands of audiobooks as well. These stories were not for me. I didn’t find the dialogue between characters natural and the narrator was a bit stilted (almost sounded like AI). The plots themselves weren’t interesting and didn’t seem mystery focused.

How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Moving, uncomfortable

Moving and often uncomfortable.
It was hard to stop listening.
Ideas proposed are supported by fascinating (and often uncomfortable) examples and research

Accents are pretty bad
Revisado: 10-03-16
I'm afraid the accents used and mispronounced town names ruined the story for me =\
The story was fine
