Garrett definitely isn’t my favorite of the male characters but it was interesting to see his side of the story. Isabelle, on the other hand, was a much more relatable character in the series.

However, I do feel like their relationship was a bit rushed in this book. I felt that the ending scene was a little lacking without Isabelle’s point of view. But it was still an overall enjoyable book.

I listened to this on on Audible. MJ Webb is a phenomenal narrator. She really brings you into the story. And each character truly has their own voice.

Don’t mess with momma bear

Wowza. Don’t mess with momma. Ema once again is not one to be messed with. Unfortunately, she is not my favorite character. Jesu on the other hand, fictional boyfriend material!

It’s definitely worth a read or a listen. The audible version is again narrated by MJ Webb. She, as usual, is amazing. Her accents and voices are so perfect.

Now, I was disappointed that it wasn’t tired up nicer being a now completed series. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 4 stars.

I was so excited when one of my favorite side characters got the spotlight! And we are introduced to some new kick-ass characters.

This book brought some normalcy to Vampires. Pregnant and having to survive your parents and their weird messed up relationship. Navigating your ex and your current love (and hat you shouldn’t want). All while trying to the die and securing an alliance with the crown.

Wowza, talk about action packed!

I listened to this one on audible again because MJ Webb seriously KILLS it. Her accents are one point. She makes it hard to believe that it’s only her reading! I don’t think I can just read this series. I need MJ to read it to me

Ema lost me a bit

I am a huge fan of Kick ass female hero stories. Ema kicked ASS in the last book. But this one lost me a bit. I am going to assume that her condition in this book is has a lot to do with it. But dang, I just wanted to yell at her to be be grateful!

Now Jesu has my heart. He doesn’t let himself get walked all over. I think that’s one of my favorite things about him. It’s not all about making her happy. His happiness is important too.

I listened to this on audible. Once again, the narrator, MJ Webb really makes the book. Her accents are killer and the difference in each character... dang it’s hard to believe that it is just one person reading.

Dirty hallmark

This was a definite 4.5 out of 5. Easily could have been a 5 if the author had expanded on certain scenes.

Starting off, I wasn’t a huge fan of Holly, the main character. But she grew one me. Elijah I adored right away. He’s my favorite kind of bad good guy. The bad boy turned good. Except this bad boy has a guilty pleasure.

Patrick was another character I really enjoyed. And I wouldn’t mind a book about him *wink wink*

I’m a sucker for cheesy romance, this was exactly what I needed. A naughty hallmark movie in written form.

I listened to the audio book on audible. The narrator MJ Webb is one of my favorite narrators. She really makes each character unique. And dang her her voice soothing.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 that’s five fires for HOT level.
This book makes 50 shades feel like “vanilla”.

I have to say, this is the first book I’ve read/listened to by Rozie Marshall. I knew it was a sexy read but WOW.

I’m not sure if this book is written around the plot or around the sex. But either way, it’s right. Rozie knocked it out of the park. Luna was amazing, I wish there had been more on her back story. The beginning felt a bit rushed but it was nice getting to the steamy part so quickly.
The men 🔥 wowza. I really felt like I got to know each one of them as Luna did. I was worried about keeping up once I realized where the story was going but the focus of the book stayed exactly where I needed it.

MJ Webb narrated the audio book and per usual. She knocked it out of the park. I was able to recognize the men’s voices as she red them. She really brings the characters to life. I’m always impressed by her narration.

This is a must read. You don’t have to wait the the “slow burn” romance here! Quick and steamy!

Enjoyable story, amazing narration

I adored Dark heirloom so much. But I struggled a bit to get into Dark Liaison. It felt like a slow start and I found myself having to take lots of breaks.

I think my biggest issue was Maria’s POV this time around. I wasn’t invested in her as a character and I was just eager to get through her chapters and back to Emma.

Speaking of Emma, YES PLEASE. I really loved her character development through this book. While she has a few cringe worth moments, she really just kicked butt in this book.
Call me a hopeless romantic but FINALLY🔥 I was patiently waiting and waiting. Thank goodness it happened. But that cliffhanger 🧗‍♀️

I can’t wait to listen to the next one.

I usually do a mix of listening and reading. I listened to Dark heirloom and Dark Liaison. Both read by MJ Webb and yes girl. As usual, her accent is on point. She really brings the characters to life, even the males.
She’s a must watch narrator and I can’t wait the hear more.

Definitely a must listen!

I had such a good experience with this book! Right out of the gate, I was SO impressed with the narration. MJ has a gift for accents. She easily transitioned from one accent to another. It was so easy to keep up. There was an odd static in between the chapters but nothing that would keep me from listening again.

The book, I love a good vampire book. I liked that this one was different! It’s not all die hard romance. But there are the steamy parts that keep you coming back for me. I adore the main character, Ema. She’s very relatable, for me at least.

This is definitely a must listen!
