Historia
CIA agent Jake Keller and his partner, Curt Roach, are in Yemen on an important mission. They've been tipped off to a secret meeting of top al Qaeda leaders. The plan is to interrupt the meeting with a few unexpected visitors - a pair of Hellfire missiles from an orbiting drone. But the drone stops responding to their signals and soon disappears over the horizon. When next seen, the drone is attacking innocent pilgrims in Mecca. Jake and Curt are staggered. The US government is desperate to disavow this atrocity. Who better to blame than a couple of rogue CIA agents?

Volume varies too much.

Listening with headphones, the voices of some characters would be very soft and then another character would blast your ears. Everything else was great.

Historia
Matthew Riker keeps to himself, doesn't cause trouble, and never talks about his past. But after a chance encounter with a woman and a small child on the run, Riker will have to make a choice: use his hard-won skills to protect two innocent victims, or stay in the safety of his quiet life. What follows is an adrenaline-soaked thrill ride that will take Riker on a cross-country chase, through the seedy underbelly of a New York criminal empire, and into the darkest places of the human heart.

Did MacGiver write this crap?
Revisado: 06-21-21
This story has the makings of a great read but when the protagonist who is supposed to be a Navy Seal throws his only weapons in a garbage can in the middle of an altercation, that just unrealistic. He also in his first CQB scene shoves a helium hose in the mouth of his enemies rather than knocking them out with the helium tank...??? Get real.

Amateur Prose

The first 10 minutes and I was through. Totally bogus. Clearly no one with military experience reviewed this book. The ridiculous conversations on what is supposed to be an active communications channel made me realize why it was free.
