Historia
Caroline Wilton has no time for romance. She’s too busy running her family’s bar to even think about dating. She’s also one of Starfall Point’s resident witches, responsible for keeping the local ghost population in check. But even the most magical of witches can use a shoulder to lean on, which is what happens when Ben Hoult, the handsome doctor she never quite got over, walks back into her life. Ben is a single dad now, and as he and Caroline reconnect, they discover that they both have a knack for helping and protecting the people near and dear to them.

Historia
President Truman is nearing the end of his term in office, and Great Britain has a new queen. It is 1952; the Cold War is beginning to heat up, and vital Western military secrets are falling into Soviet hands. The CIA is faced with a delicate dilemma, for the source of the leaks to the KGB has been traced directly to the Queen's chambers.

Great characters and story, a bit out of date.
Revisado: 04-08-24
This is a great spy novel. However, having been written in 1976, it uses some offensive and out of date terminology and depicts women, including the queen, as a little daft. The narration is a bit wooden and clitches in places so that it sounds like a different voice

Good characters and story, great voice work
Revisado: 04-04-24
This is the second Brynn Kelly book I’ve listened to and though the basic story was the same in both, I loved it anyway! Her male characters are sexy with personality, humor and emotion. Her female leads are gutsy, bright and feminine. I’m definitely a fan now. I look forward to what she publishes next.
