Historia
Celebrating her forty-fifth birthday at her local pub, popular podcaster Alix Summer crosses paths with an unassuming woman called Josie Fair. Josie, it turns out, is also celebrating her forty-fifth birthday. They are, in fact, birthday twins. A few days later, Alix and Josie bump into each other again, this time outside Alix’s children’s school. Josie has been listening to Alix’s podcasts and thinks she might be an interesting subject for her series. She is, she tells Alix, on the cusp of great changes in her life.

Creepy and Tense!
Revisado: 03-12-25
Everything was great. The plot unfolded step by step and always remained tense. You feel the concerns and can't stop listening, even though you don't want to know what's going to happen. The ending though is mind blowing. Great book!

Historia
A sweet sapphic romance takes a deadly dark turn in this sharp-as-a-knife novella with the slow build menace of Angela Carter's The Bloody Chamber—from a New York Times-bestselling author hailed by Chuck Wendig as "a storyteller working at the top of her class."

Slow but thrilling
Revisado: 03-06-25
This book seemed to have a slow burn but constantly gave me an anxiety about what could go wrong. The description is great and the story seemed to be over far too soon. It's the ending you won't see coming.

Loved it!
Revisado: 11-08-24
I love all of the voice actors for starters. The story itself was well written and gave me a full understanding of Lucien. I think this even helped to clear up questions I had from Campaign 2.

Historia
It was four o'clock in the morning. A young woman pushed through the hospital doors. Staff would later say they thought the woman was a new mother, returning to her child - and in a way, she was. She walked into the nursery, where a baby girl lay sleeping. The infant didn't wake when the woman placed her gently in the shopping bag she had brought with her. There is CCTV footage of what happened next, and most Australians would have seen it, either on the internet or the news.

Wonderful book
Revisado: 02-04-23
This book hit close to home for me and took me on an emotional rollercoaster. The ending was bittersweet and I feel like my heart is broken. I started wondering if this was based on a true story too. Wonderfully narrated and performed.

I absolutely loved this book. There are quote a few characters to remember but they are all unique. I was also excited that this book is set in Colorado and touches on how life was back in the 1800s.

The characters were diverse. The thrill was real and this book is overall well performed. I still think she did Lothum wrong though. Need more relationships!

Really cool!
Revisado: 12-11-22
With the use of multiple voice actors I didn't know how it would effect the overall story but it ended up giving a lot of depth. I really liked too, that the book is based on a true cold case which the author speaks about in the end. Also, no one has to be worried about any animals dying :)

Her estranged father, the local medical examiner, has had a massive heart attack. At the hospital, she finds her father in near total denial of the seriousness of his condition. Story is decent, voice acting killed it
Revisado: 11-05-22
This story is good, but may have been better if the plot was flipped around. By that, I mean that seeing the main character being pursued before a flashback of what was happening first. the only thing that really took me out of this story was the voice actor. This book needed the ability to have multiple voices for all of the characters, yet I felt it was being read by a teenager. Very monotone with no emotion. So that alone made it really hard to feel tension or anything else. Pretty bummed about this.
