Silly ideals and over idealistic youth. I would rather die and kill all the people here than make a practical choice and save the people and the treasures……gag. Don’t waste your time

Greatly enjoyed this listen and look forward to the rest of the series. Dont be warned off by the prudes who left poor reviews. If you are easily offended then in truth this is not the book for you. But if you are open to lives many joys and the tangled mess that often accompanies them you will find this book delightful.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Not certain why this book was recommended based on my previous listens and hope it does not encourage other such drivel to appear in my recommendations.

I am certain this book has an audience based on the other favorable reviews but I am certainly not it. I prefer female characters who are strong and capable. I suppose there are women "looking to be rescued" and want to read about "men who sweep them away and take care of them". I am just consistently amazed that they exist/

Would you ever listen to anything by Lara Adrian again?

Probably not as she wrote this as the female being meant to make babies and i don't know look pretty? and not good for anything else......still amazed it was written by a woman.

Would you be willing to try another one of Hillary Huber’s performances?

Her voice is a little too smoky for me with the over the top sex kitten. Again i know it is something that some people like i just prefer competency.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Kiss of Midnight?

i think it is more what it is missing....

Would you try another book from Andrew Rowe and/or Nick Podehl?

Could not make it past chapter 4......no real introduction then launched into what sounded to me like a play by play of a game where you fight things and collect loot.....considering it is written and i am not a gamer not much to enjoy.....kept thinking that a "story" would develop but ran out of patience.

Would you ever listen to anything by Andrew Rowe again?

He was fine.

What did you love best about Heir of Fire?

The series is layered and uplifting bringing character after character entering as the under dog and leaving victorious. I look forward to the next books in this well thought and marvelously narrated series.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Aelin Galathynius of course. She has strength, tenderness, and compassion. A great example for young women that speaks to navigating the world.

What does Elizabeth Evans bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her vocalizations of the characters and inflections giving insight into the words.
