The book was short and concise and offered quality information. The information discussed was nothing new but I did like the organization of the message. The book wraps up everything you need to know in a quality package and doesn't waste your time

Following the Georgetown Hoyas in the 80s I grew to become a gigantic fan of Coach Thompson. But this book opens the door to a whole different view of Coach Thompson that I never knew. I felt honored to Listen to this intriguing man story. I have a new respect For all he accomplished at his time at Georgetown. I have no idea of the lives that he touched and changed in his time on this planet. This was one of the best audiobooks that I have listened to I would advise anyone who is interested in learning how one man can stand on his integrity and change the world. RIP Coach Thompson. Thank you for leaving does blueprint behind

When you try to sell people of color in the US that choice is the only thing stopping them from greatness or economical stability but don't discuss the social economic and racial roadblocks placed in their way is the meaning to our history and our struggle. At the same time taking terms from previous black organizations "Power to the People" and not naming black organization who coined the phrase. The Black Panthers were referenced but not giving credit for their statements and then they book somewhat dismisses their presence by saying the phrase misses the mark by claiming to overcome their problems financially people of color is make better choices. That's way too simplistic, yes we all have choices but the choices a person of color has to make in the US is totally different than anyone else and that is the problem and has to be discussed. The financial and social playing field is not leveled and never addressed in this book. 1 ⭐ for me.

Nana captures the black experience in the story and every comic fan of color will be able to see his thoughts clearly. He also doesn't leave out those who are not black, he lays the foundation for understanding the choices made with various characters throughout the years.
I enjoyed the listen and would encourage and recommend this title to everyone.

Pastor Wallis hits home on areas ,any of us in the body of Christ need to reevaluate if we are going to stand on the title of Christian. He raised great points on the role of politicians which I pray others will stop and consider how it doesn’t align with the Word of God. This was a great listen and I am sure I am going to try to listen a few more times to connect with the purpose of the book.
