Great book… not so great audio

Loved this story. Such a good mystery and I did NOT see the twist coming. I have become a huge fan of McFadden books.
However, the audio/narrator spoke so aggressively and sounded like she was supposed to say “erm” before every sentence. I really had to get used to it to listen to the whole thing.

Not for everyone but there’s always someone for every book. Weird lines got crossed and there were some really off putting scenes but I guess that’s what they were going for with this one.
