Historia
No longer hidden behind the curtain… the Humtars walk among us. How will their return impact the Galactic Empire's wars? With the help of his uncle, Captain Tim Haas has smuggled out a virus that is highly deadly to the Zodarks. After the attack on Sol, this weapon of mass destruction would be an instrument of revenge, of justice, for billions of people. Will it be discovered before he can use it? Would such a genocidal act threaten the Republic's position in the Empire or strengthen it?

Disappointed
Revisado: 01-26-25
I've really enjoyed this series, but I found this book full of old military clichés and retelling of WWII battles in space. Hopefully the last two books are better.

Historia
It was the land of the Alaska Gold Rush, where nuggets were said to be the size of goose eggs, where men froze to death in search of the elusive yellow metal, and dancehall girls lured overnight millionaire sourdoughs into marriage. Honky-tonk pianos punctuated the howl of the north wind in towns that were half-tent and half-ramshackle collections of driftwood, whalebone, and packing cases. It was a time of whiskey and gold and long, lonely trails behind a dogsled. It was, in a word, ALASKA.

No flow at all to the book, random stories and quotes, sometimes one line, then skip to the next. Very lazy writing. The narration was equally terrible. Over half the names of towns and cities pronounced incorrectly. Much better Alaska gold rush books out there, skip this one.
