At first I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it, but it didn’t take long to get hooked and binge listen to it. The narrator does a great job bringing the book to life!

OMG! The storyline keeps you interested and is just the right pace. Here’s a women a lot of us can relate with (well except she’s got money). She’s wise enough to no longer put up with any guff, is proudest of her kids, and has to navigate being a new vampire. Hope there’s more in a series. Addicted!

Great follow up to book one! Evil unicorn, necromancy, kidnapped kids, the Mother book in peril, and a possible courtship? I cheered on our strong-willed heroine and her friends, while sometimes wanting to yell at her in frustration. Molly Harper makes sure to weave in a great lesson that we don't have to carry a burden alone; friends can be our greatest asset.
