Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

I read Volume 2 without reading Volume 1 but I was still able to follow along with the storylines and characters. The author does a great job of developing believable characters and compelling details that make you want to keep reading.

Great book! Wonderful characters, good storyline.
Revisado: 08-06-19
This book was pretty good. Great depth of characters and fairly good, although slightly predictable, storyline. There are so many post-apocalypse stories that it is hard to come up with any new scenarios but the author does a really good job of developing characters that make you want to keep reading. This would be great for young adults/teens but I also enjoyed it and I have grandchildren who are young adults/teens.
