Dirty Dom, written by Sarah Bailey and narrated by Kitty Windrow is, if you remember, the first dip for this author into the hybrid world of erotic romance. Shorter stories than her dark romance novels, with slightly less drama, the Dirty series serves as appetizer to the prospective Sarah Bailey reader to see if the themes of her novels would be right for you. With this new audio, it could certainly serve the same purpose. A brief run down: Clara a young woman who’s discovered that she needs a man to “claim” her rather than a more conventional romance. Dominic could give her everything she needs, but the last thing he wants is a commitment. Can these two find love in favor of their similarities and despite their differences? Of course they will, but damnit it’s a fun journey to get there.

Verdict: Dirty Dom is a hot story in print, and still scorches when heard in the audio format. The complexities of this unique brand of love and romance shine with the narration as the emotion can be heard clearly and distinctly. The narration is professional, and sides more to the “neutral” read that allows the listener to find the sexual energy themselves rather than being whispered sweet nothings for the better part of three hours. Besides, with a hot and tight story like this one, anything more might end with an awkward train ride and a cold shower. Handle with care!

Third time is the charm

Verdict: Demonic Domination: Squirt in Space by T.S. Lovecraft, and narrated by Jupiter Grant is a fitting capstone to a series that’s as sexy as it is adventurous. For this go ‘round, the author focuses on what works instead of trying to jam a lot of plot in a tight, sexy story. The sexual energy is riveting, and it was a pleasure to have my experience as a listener right along side the pair of lovers, which soon becomes three. The poly relationship is allowed its own space to bloom outside of the fantastic fantasy elements that will both engage and perhaps entice the lust minded consumer. If this is the last we see of this lust demon and his faithful submissive companions, they’ve been given a satisfying payoff. If there’s still more to come…well beam me the hell up, I’m down for another fantastic voyage.

The Truth about Nymphomania

Verdict: Nymphomania and the Single Girl by H.H. narrated by Jupiter Grant is a philosophical blockbuster to the notion of sexuality as it pertains to nymphomania. With each chapter serving as a sexual anecdote, the range of scenarios will keep most lusty listeners entertained, if not clutching at their pearls at the unique content. I had trouble listening to this book all in one go, as I don’t think that’s the best way to enjoy this. Take 15 minutes with your partner every day or so and have a listen to a chapter or two. Maybe the sexy talk will get you in the mood. Maybe it’ll give you a whole new idea for your bedroom routine (horse-free). Or maybe, this selection of confessions will make you think a little more about what it means to have your life defined by your sexuality, and how powerless we truly could be to it. Perhaps a nice quiet evening of knitting would be better enjoyed instead, as it certainly won’t stain the sheets.

A crazy old time down south

Verdict: Demonic Domination II: Cucking Hell written by T.S. Lovecraft and narrated by Jupiter Grant is an interesting attempt at mixing fantasy eroticism with a sense of pitch black humor. The world presented, (or underworld rather), is imaginative and wants to invite the listener to explore the mindscape on their own. The sexual content pays the price for this however, as the set dressing and canon lore eat up more of the valuable time than the equally imaginative sex scenes which aren’t fully explored. Most of the novella is a whiplash of tone change: demon fighting, sex with weird maids, more demon problems, an inexplicable BFF lesbian fantasy come to life, still more demon fighting…there’s a loss of sexual feeling because things setup and change so often. It’s like being in an erotic role-play chat room filled to brim with horny goth teens that have a PornHub education and attention deficit disorder. It’s not a commentary on author ability, the ideas presented here are way too good to ignore. Even the brief epilogue was unique and funny as hell (no pun intended). If this one novella was broken into a multi part series on its own…well you could send me straight to hell because I’d be looking to make a deal.

Spooky and Sexy

Verdict: A Horny Halloween by Jupiter Grant is a thorough exploration of a half dozen sexy/spooky stories that rely on strong story telling to engage the listener rather than employing intense brutality or jump scares. Even if the Halloween/Samhain themes aren’t you’re cup of tea, the stories themselves combined with the sexual elements will be a rewarding journey on their own. The tales seem expertly curated to slowly crescendo a chilling feeling in the listener with each ticking story. The looming, hair raising storytelling culminates with a last second knockout punch to make for a memorable finale to each story and the series as a whole. The unique idea used to wrap up the story is worth the price of admission alone, but that shouldn’t short sell the other wonderfully hot ideas presented throughout. It may only be February, but in honor of this compilation I’m breaking out the pumpkins early. Let’s remember the true reason for the season, and hold it dear all the year ‘round. Keep it spooky, kids.

Hot Content with a mixed edge

Verdict: Demonic Domination by T.S. Lovecraft and narrated by Jupiter Grant is a sparky little erotica short that works as a sexy piece of text and especially well as a sexy piece of audio. The narration of the Audible file is professional and clean…while being dirty in all the right ways. Demon sex to cure the cancer of a Christian virgin’s father isn’t the sort of subject for your average smut fan, but there’s a welcoming tone that you need not be on Team Satan to have yourself a good time. Still, there’s a clear message about what’s going on here, and I don’t think Destiny was named that by accident. There’s a strong base for a nice long series here, as this may not be only one story of a lost soul. Maybe the true destiny will be lost on us mere mortals, but I can’t help but think we’re better off. I’ll be sure to check back on this series in the future, but for now I’ve got some crosses around the house to flip back around.
