I liked the description and application of living the 3P. I can hear the passion of the authors for this profound truth and of their desire to share it. An excellent book that I will listen to repeatedly as well as buy the hard copy.

Historia
Decades of dieting have created a culture where women are afraid of food and no longer know how to eat the way nature intended. Despite evidence and research that shows dieting does not work, it remains a multimillion-dollar industry and continues to be the only solution presented when faced with the question, "How do I create a balanced relationship with food?" Becca Clegg, LPC, CEDS, proposes a radical alternative: to improve your relationship with food, you must first improve your relationship with yourself.

It’s the book I’ve been waiting for
Revisado: 02-16-23
Back in the early 90’s I read a couple of wonderful books about trusting my instincts about eating and being peaceful and accepting about food. Those two books changed my life but something was missing and I believe ETDM has the answers. I feel it in my core that what Becca Clegg is saying is truth. I’m going to get the hard copy as soon as I’m able and about to listen again to the audio. The truth for me and the truth about me is written in this book. Thank you Becca Clegg.

We all know that there are some people who demonstrate a capacity for extraordinary creative genius that sets them apart. They articulate things that have never been known before and become the transformative visionaries of history. We often assume that they must have been born with a rare talent for novelty.

This is a beautifully written albeit quite dense book. I fully enjoyed it and was exposed to new writings I’m going to look into reading.
Unfortunately, I do not care for the narrator. He sounds a bit like AI.

Historia
We are a technological society, no doubt about it. Our devices keep us informed while isolating us from each other and from ourselves, our true selves. There is, however, another technology, an inner technology that brings us back to our true selves and gives us the ability to create lives of joy, abundance, and wisdom. Kim Stanwood Terranova calls it The Technology of Intention, and in this book, she teaches the listener how to tap into this technology and unleash its power.

Kim is amazing! I’d recommend any book written by her. Intentions are vital for my personal growth and this book bails the process and importance of setting them.

Historia
Elizabeth Lesser believes that if women’s voices had been equally heard and respected throughout history, humankind would have followed different hero myths and guiding stories - stories that value caretaking, champion compassion, and elevate communication over vengeance and violence. Cassandra Speaks is about the stories we tell and how those stories become the culture. It’s about the stories we still blindly cling to, and the ones that cling to us: the origin tales, the guiding myths, the religious parables, the literature and films and fairy tales passed down....

I loved this book. I’m giving it to several young women I know for the holidays. I’m 58 and live in the northeast but was raised in the South in a deeply religious, patriarchal family. This book is helping with my healing from the brainwashing I encountered in my family and in organized religion.
The narrator was excellent.

September 1909, and Lady Hardcastle and her maid, Florence, have been invited to Lord Riddlethorpe’s country estate for a week of motor racing and parties. They both agree that it sounds like a perfectly charming holiday. But when one of the drivers dies in a crash during the very first race, they discover that what seemed like an uncharacteristic error in judgement may have a more sinister explanation...

Historia
In his wickedly brilliant first novel, Debut Dagger Award winner Alan Bradley introduces one of the most singular and engaging heroines in recent fiction: Eleven-year-old Flavia de Luce, an aspiring chemist with a passion for poison. It is the summer of 1950 - and a series of inexplicable events has struck Buckshaw, the decaying English mansion that Flavia’s family calls home. A dead bird is found on the doorstep, a postage stamp bizarrely pinned to its beak. Hours later, Flavia finds a man lying in the cucumber patch and watches him as he takes his dying breath.

I love a good British mystery and this didn't fail to satisfy. The fact that the main character is an 11 year old girl taps into that wonderful childlike part of myself and so all around it's a completely fulfilling experience listening to Alan Bradley's stories. Many thanks to the author!
Jane Entwistle is one of my favorite narrators. A perfect combination.

Historia
Marie-Laure lives with her father in Paris near the Museum of Natural History, where he works as the master of its thousands of locks. When she is six, Marie-Laure goes blind and her father builds a perfect miniature of their neighborhood so she can memorize it by touch and navigate her way home. When she is 12, the Nazis occupy Paris and father and daughter flee to the walled citadel of Saint-Malo, where Marie-Laure’s reclusive great-uncle lives in a tall house by the sea. With them they carry what might be the museum’s most valuable and dangerous jewel.
