Historia
If it can happen in show business, it’s happened to Jon Cryer. Now he’s opening up for the first time and sharing his behind-the-scenes stories in a warmly endearing, sharply observed, and frankly funny look at life in Hollywood. In 1986, Jon Cryer won over America as Molly Ringwald’s loyal and lovable best friend, Duckie, in the cult classic Pretty in Pink in a role that set the tone for his three-decade-long career in Hollywood. He went on to establish himself as one of the most talented comedic actors in the business.

Yes please!
Revisado: 11-10-14
Would you consider the audio edition of Yes Please to be better than the print version?
I did not read the print version but loved hearing this through Amy's voice. Also, the parts where her parents read are awesome and heartwarming.
What did you like best about this story?
She is totally honest and does not hold back. Loved her advice for guys and girls on sex! Also, loved her take on being pregnant and being a mom.
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The live reading at the Upright Citizen Brigade was awesome. I cried at the end...and not just because I'm 7 months pregnant. At least, I don't think that's why.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I pretty much had no choice. It accompanied me on my drive from Orange County to the Bay Area and back. Made the drive go by fast.
Any additional comments?
This book along with Rachel Dratch's and Tina Fey's give you a fun behind the scenes of SNL during their ERA.

Historia
After having endured enough emotional wreckage in her search for true love to fill a book ( The New York Times bestseller The Between Boyfriends Book), two magazine columns, and five seasons of scripts for Sex and the City, Cindy Chupack finally, mercifully, at the age of thirty-nine, met the Perfect Man. The perfect companion for anyone navigating a marriage (or even just contemplating one), The Longest Date marks the welcome return of one of our most gifted and captivating comic writers.

Great listen!
Revisado: 08-08-14
If you could sum up The Longest Date in three words, what would they be?
Funny, heartwarming and ....er...good.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Longest Date?
Without giving it away she describes a very personal and tragic thing that happened to her and her husband while on their journey to becoming parents. Gripping.
Which scene was your favorite?
I liked the chapter titled Ian's page. Its actually narrated by her husband and is so honest. Loved it.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Her relationship with her dog Tink and how she became a dog person over time. So sweet.
Any additional comments?
It was more heartwarming than fumy but definitely worth the listen. I will probably listen to it again. I also love listening to books that are narrated by the author. This one is a treat!
