Trying to stay open minded

Just getting started. I love everything Star Wars. Even with less than great reviews of this newly explored area, I wanted to formulate my own opinion and not just disregard because of negative publicity. But I had to make an early review when I heard Han’s voice in a time long before Han was alive, let alone involved in the plot. This is when I realized it was narrated by the same guy that narrated last shot. Hey narrator, your scratchy Han voice wasn’t too terrible, but cmon. It’s han’s voice. Good effort with it. But leave that iconic voice for other works with Han. Or non Star Wars books altogether. Lol. I don’t usually leave reviews. But since I felt this was funny enough to comment on, I will also leave my opinion of the first installment of this uncharted, for me at least, era. Also one of your characters kinda sounds like Stephen Colbert’s impersonation of trump. Hilarious.

Better than expected!

I’m more of a sci-fi military type fan than a more realistic thriller like this. But this one caught me off guard. I love the way it’s written. Bouncing between different perspectives of the same events. Let’s you feel each encounter from all sides involved. Very well narrated as well. Like another reviewer said, I would have liked to hear more diversity in each character’s voices. But that’s about the only negative thing I can say. That and the fact I wished I would have known this was book 2. Lol. But I look forward to checking out the first in the series as well as the others that came after. Thanks for a good experience.
