great story, bad narrator

As with so many audio books the narrator can make or break it. In this case the bland performance of the narrator killed it. There are no distractions between characters and the tone is tiring to listin to.

Possibly one of the best books I have ever heard.

By the time this series was over I felt like I not only knew the characters but that I knew someone like them. That is a gift that only a great author can give. If you like history, war stories or just a book about what it means to be human this is for you.

bit of a disconnect between parts

It's probably just me.

This book started out strong but then the story line changed and it became hard to follow. Its probably just me. I just wanted to hear more about the act.
