It's all here: their mythology, history and cultures in a disciplined, tightly woven narrative which is both a meditation on philosophy and a white knuckle ride. I've got one volume left to read (Yes! It's possible to finish a trilogy!) and I'm boarding to make my return right now.

Grisham started a great story and didn't know how to finish it, so, he took the easy way out and killed the main character off at 3/4 in. I'll never read the guy again.
