There is a certain kind of confusion that I feel when I read the Locked Tomb that makes me feel very alive and human. It's like there is someone out there who knows the whole story, but it's not Nona, it's not Harrow, it's definitely not Gideon. God doesn't even know the whole story. I'll never understand everything, but I love being in the company of these characters while they play out their experiences and learning all of the so many sides that exist in any one series of events. Wade into this book and float in the experience.

Also, please write down that I love Noodle. I want Noodle to know that I love him.

The first exercise in this book was good and useful, the rest were very abstract and whenever the author invites the listener to consider what they are feeling, he immediately tells them what they must be feeling. This comes across more as indoctrination than meditation. The whole book comes across as an advertisement for the authors "Lineage", to which he constantly refers in a way that make it sound like a cult.

If your concept of Buddhist philosophy is that people are inherently bad and need to fix themselves, this book is for you. If your concept of Buddhist philosophy is that people are inherently good and can use that inherent goodness to find perspective and understanding of their delusions and grow more skillful in life, skip this book.
