Historia
The world as we know it ends when an attack on the U.S. unleashes bombs that deliver fire and biological destruction. Along with sonic detonations and devastating earthquakes, the bombs have also brought the green mist. If breathed in, it is deadly to all men—but alters the body chemistry of many women, imbuing them with superhuman abilities. A group of high-school teachers heading home from a conference experiences firsthand the strength of these new powers.

It was ok
Revisado: 11-16-22
It isn’t the worst book I’ve ever listened to in this genre but I’m not sure that I’ll finish the series. I have a feeling I will just to know how this all ends. The lead characters were a bit over the top in their speech and actions. The dialogue was just very obvious at times.
Certainly not a horrible book. Just not a great one.

Historia
When Chris Caldwell, the chief of police of a small town, investigates the kidnapping of Tyler Creasy and the brutal and torturous murder of his parents, the investigation reveals dark secrets of the family. As the clues unravel and similar instances are discovered to have occurred over a period of more than 60 years, the question arises: Is this an isolated incident, or is there something more sinister in the works?

Fabulous story and great listen !
Revisado: 05-27-21
The topic scared me a little at first but the author quickly grabs your attention and turns the focus to the well written back story and fantastic character development. The twists were just enough to keep me on the edge of my seat.
The narrator did a fantastic job. I am left wanting the sequel right now!
