amazing

I love this series. I really like the performance of the audiobook. I've already read everything on Royalroad, but now I cant wait for the next audiobook. I hope this series continues through tier 50 and onto the higher realms instead of just following Matt, Liz, and Aster until they finish the path at 25.

A fun story
Revisado: 03-27-19
While it's not the most exciting book ever, it is very fun to listen to. I loved how the narrator actually sang the parts that were supposed to be sung ( it always annoys me when you have to listen to someone deadpan something that a character is singing). This is the only litrpg type book I have read that has a main character who is both innocent and intelligent. Usually they're either intelligent and ruthless, or a complete idiot. I usually prefer slightly darker stories, but this was an excellent change. It was really nice to be able to read/listen to a light and happy book without being bothered by all of the stupid and nonsensical actions of the protagonist. I really enjoyed the pop culture references. This is the first time I've seen pop culture references used to this extent that felt natural. It wasn't the author trying to cram in jokes, or obscure references that specific fandoms would enjoy. It felt like what a normal person might say in that situation. And I love how the other characters reacted. They didn't think she was crazy ( okay sometimes they did) but they realized that she was from a different culture and accepted her differences. I can't wait for the sequel.

Historia
Earth is safe for now, with it came some much needed surprises. Though if Salchar was expecting a break he’s in for a rude awakening, well he’s already done that once...but anyway. Lady Fairgate has sensed something has gone wrong at Parnmal. Thinking that Jorsht is now trying to carve out his own little kingdom, she sends Captain Kelu, one of her favourite enforcers with the largest Syndicate Fleet assembled since the Syndicate and the Union went head to head.

I'm really angry
Revisado: 01-16-19
Spoilers Salchar was so stupid in this book. He betrayed his guard and the whole fleet by surrendering himself. If he thought he could be rescued, he should be able to believe that the others could be rescued. They weren't going to kill the hostages, that was their only leverage. His guard shouldn't have been stupid enough to let him turn himself in. For someone with trust issues, he sure acts like a trusting idiot in this book. There are a lot of issues in this book. I love the author and in general love the series, but wow, it was hard to listen to. How did they keep losing track of an agent that they knew they couldn't trust and that had a whole team of people who hated him watching him? How did they not have a team on standby in case Salchar's communicator cut out for even a second. Worst case scenario, they slightly offend someone for a technical malfunction. I hate giving bad reviews, so pretend this is a one star

A Great Story
Revisado: 01-08-19
I love the story, but the science is just terrible. I understand that its scifi, but the whole Hydrogen thing was painful to listen to. They go to a planet covered in ice and dig up blocks of frozen hydrogen. It doesn't work that way. Also, with the technology they had available they could have created Tritium at home. Any cursory research would have pointed out the many errors in his depiction of how hydrogen works. I still really enjoyed the series and this book, but I needed to complain about this bit. I can ignore a lot of small issues but this was just ridiculous.

Good, but it got annoying when he pronounced Loli as ioli. Everything else was great. Just that one bit kept making me want to scream.
