In the 21st century, A history that focuses solely on the same biased assertion that there was no important civilization outside of "the west" is profoundly racist. The scope of the course is offensive. Within that scope, it did a good job. Please find courses that treat the majority of the people with the same finesse as the dominant, colonial culture.

poorly scoped, written, and read.

covered the first 2 thousand years in less time than the last 50. It was the worst kind of history (dates then names then actions without context or personality) It literally droned me to sleep. The reader clearly got the take on a cold read.
