Disliked the narrator, interesting story

As the review said, I disliked the narrator. However, if you can put up with the narrator it's really great.

The narrator has this high-pitched and breathy voice, like a middle schooler trying to sound seductive. Also there's weird inflection at random times.

The story is about a human girl born with crippled hands who is reincarnated as a dungeon core, and her quest to do all the crafting she didn't have a chance to in life. Saying any more than that would be spoilers.

Narration Inconsistencies

Often throughout this book, you shall notice that when it says "he said roughly" or "she said with a quaver in her voice" or other such emotive tips for the narrator, the narrator simply opts not to include them. It's rather disconcerting, and if they'd included them, I would be glad to give the narrating five stars, as the voices were different for each character, the narrator has a nice voice for the work, and their reading pace and flow was natural and easy to listen to. However, the inconsistencies in the voicing pulled me somewhat out of the story each time it occurred, which was rather disappointing.

Great book, the narration made it FANTASTIC

As said above, We Are Legion was a wonderful, interesting, entertaining book with lots of fun but not-too-obscure geeky references. The job done on narration upped it to fantastic quality. The emphasis and tones the narrator used made it even more engaging and fun.

Absolutely Spectacular

Magnificent narration, on par with, or dare I say, BETTER THAN Jim Dale. Crazy, I know. The emotion and accents are impeccable to my ear, and the character's terrible impersonation of a Jamacian accent is entertaining.

The story was magnificent, and one of my top favorites out of the thousands of books I've read and listened to over the years. Fun, time-period accurate, entertaining, and captivating. The MC is relatable, if a bit melodramatic, and her antics are entertaining in the extreme. All-around fantastic, Bloody Jack is truly a book for everyone's shelf. Fully recommend.

My whole family loves this book. We listen to this series on road trips, or to fall asleep since it has become so familiar. TIP: NATHANIEL PARKER version of The Lost Colony. The other guys version is terrible.

Bernadette Dunn did a magnificent job narrating a wonderful story. I thoroughly recommend this audiobook.
