New narrator really killed it
Revisado: 12-11-18
The end got really cool, but the narrator and the tone of the book both just sounded far too pedantic for me to enjoy this one. Wish they hadn't changed it up, doubt I'll be getting any more if they have the same reader. The story of the book was a bit slow through most of it, but it was obviously setting up a good series.

Historia
Steering souls through the subtleties of word and expression, Kellhus strives to extend his dominion over the Men of the Tusk. The sorcerer Achamian and his lover, Esmenet, submit entirely, only to have their faith - and their love - tested in unimaginable ways. Meanwhile, the warrior Cnaiur falls ever deeper into madness. Convinced that Kellhus will betray their pact to murder his father, Cnaiur turns to the agents of the Second Apocalypse and strikes an infernal bargain. The Holy War stands on a knife edge.

A Heading is Required
Revisado: 11-06-18
The author has all of the best and worst traits of Stephen King or George R R Martin, and takes them to the next level. I would pass this series up in favor of Erikson's Malazan Book of the Fallen series. That said, I don't usually hesitate to put a book series down, but this one is good enough to finish.
